This Autumn, we are adapting our usual Harvest activities to accommodate COVID-19 restrictions and to keep our donors safe. We are running a campaign online and encouraging donors to donate Funds for Food.

Story

Harvest is a time of year when we come together and celebrate abundance of food by sharing with one another. This year Harvest looks quite different to previous years but the heart behind sharing and giving to one another still stays true. Since April and all through the lockdown, the Southwark Foodbank has been delivering food parcels instead of people collecting them from centres and more than ever are relying on the public's support to keep the services running for even more people. In April alone, foodbank usage went up by 400% in Southwark. To keep supporters safe, the foodbank is encouraging donations of Funds For Food, instead of physical food donations. Help us support the Southwark Foodbank with a small donation to keep them going strong as we head into Autumn and celebrate Harvest, giving to those in our community who might be struggling to afford food even more than normal because of COVID-19. Thank you for supporting!
