On Sunday the 2nd October I will be running the London Marathon to raise money for an amazing charity in StreetGames. I will be raising money for the Fit and Fed Programme that provides some of society’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged young people with fun sport and physical activity opportunities alongside a healthy and nutritious meal during holiday periods where they often struggle. 14.5 million people in the UK live in poverty (including 4.2 million children) and this number continues to rise. I want to raise money for a programme that provides essential support to these young people and families so they can experience things that are often taken for granted by so many.
