In a rather inebriated condition at the recent Aspire hosted sports quiz dinner @ Lords, I committed myself and fellow team members to participating in the Iron Man challenge that will take place on October 6 at the Aspire National Training Centre in Stanmore

We have a team of six very amateur athletes who will be swimming 2.4 miles, enduring a 112 mile bike ride and panting our way round a 26.2 mile marathon course in the grounds of the Royal National Orthapaedic Hospital

Every day in the UK four people sustain spinal cord injuries mostly due to road traffic accidents but also sporting incidents - the vast majority of spinal cord injuries leave the victims paralysed and therefore heavily reliant on Aspire support and funding to cope with the future - please help us to help Aspire to continue to provide this funding and level of care and support for those unlucky enough to be victims of such life changing injuries
