Story
My mother was my best friend, she was my world. Lost her too early . She was the most compassionate person in terms of helping others . Her loss is irreplaceable .The hospice helped us go through a very hard time . This walk is to remember a loved one by walking the distance of; 2.5k, 4k or 10k from Thames Hospice in Bray or from a location that you love. After your walk, join us in our beautiful Hospice gardens where you are guaranteed lots of Jubilee fun, entertainment and delicious refreshments. You will also have the opportunity to leave a special message for a loved one; this will be displayed on our special Memory Tree in the hospice garden. All money raised will help us support our wonderful community. Our services are free of charge to all who need us, thanks to the generosity of our amazing community and organisations, as well as our 700 incredible volunteers who give their time to support the best possible end-of-life care for local people. It costs £12 million every year to keep our Hospice running and we rely on charitable support for over 50% of the funds we need annually to provide our services free of charge, 365 days a year, to the people who need us most.Thank you
