Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This is a huge personal challenge for me. I will have to put in the time to train for the hills in Yorkshire! This will be a very demanding physical challenge for me and my legs!

I've worked at the branch now since August 2012 and I am so proud to be a part of such a dedicated team of people helping so many animals each year.

We also assist so many people under our outreach programme who may be suffering with mental health issues who desperately need the support and advice our staff offer and it really helps to make a huge difference in their lives which in turn benefits their pets.

RSPCA Central & NE London often take in the animals that other charities will not, the ones that are very sick, injured, have been abused, abandoned and of course the elderly ones too! We don't judge our intake on what will be rehomed the quickest or easiest. We assess, rehabilitate and find options for every animal that finds its way to us needing help for whatever reason.

We use a huge network of fosterers, we resite ferals under our Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) programme to enable them to have a better life somewhere beautiful and safe and we network so effectively with other charities and rescue centres that it allows us to rescue even more animals!

I'd be so grateful for any donations in support of my epic cycle, every penny of your money will feed into what we do at the branch every day! Thank you,

Hayley xx

About the charity

Each year the Central London Branch of the RSPCA helps around 1,500 cats, dogs, rabbits and other animals. One of our main activities is running a cat neutering scheme, which helps people who cannot afford vets' fees, to have their animals neutered. This service is available in the Greater London area, with the support of other RSPCA branches and other charities. We also do as much as we can to help animals in distress, and find them permanent or temporary homes. We are a separate charity from RSPCA Headquarters with responsibility for raising funds to pay for the work that we do. We constantly apply our funds to help as many animals as possible in the Branch area.
