Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I'm taking on this challenge to run the first ever Great Aberdeen Run Half Marathon, to raise money for the Denis Law Legacy Trust.  It really is a big challenge for me and will be the furthest I've run since my heart surgery back in 2012.

The aim of Denis Law Legacy Trust's activities is to reduce instances of youth crime and anti-social behaviour; promote health and wellbeing and encourage inclusivity through sport, physical activity and creative endeavour.  They operate 'Streetsport' who deliver free weekly sports and creative activity sessions for young people throughout Aberdeen City, and are just about to open Scotland's first 'Cruyff Court' in Aberdeen.  Streetsport has just been recognised in the Queen's Awards, awarded the MBE for volunteer groups.
