I'm lucky enough to work with FareShare South West, who are an incredible charity tackling the region-wide issue of food poverty, whilst also providing a solution to food waste, which pervades the food industry. The amazing team and volunteers take in-date surplus food and redistribute it to over 180 charities and organisations (including schools) across the region. This ensures the most vulnerable in our communities can enjoy a decent meal. 

If you know me, you'll know I love nothing more than a delicious meal and feel passionately that all should have access to good, nutritious and fresh food. It is staggering that 1 in 4 children in Bristol alone are at risk of hunger as a result of food poverty. In addition to this there are numerous charities supporting the homeless, refugees, victims of domestic abuse and those going through rehabilitation who would not be able to provide the quantity or quality of food to their users if it weren't for FareShare South West. 

Just £1 equates to 4 meals. 

Just £7 could provide a 28 nutritious breakfasts for children attending a breakfast club at school.
