The most dreadful tragedy recently struck our friends and neighbours, Sian and Darren, when their beautiful son, Sam, was involved in a cycling accident. He sustained serious head injuries from which he did not recover, but, in Sian's words, the Midlands Air Ambulance 'did an amazing job which allowed us precious time with Sam. Those valuable moments the air ambulance gave us also meant we had the opportunity to fulfil Sam's wish to be a donor and save another life.' 

We would like to dedicate our marathon to Sam's memory, who will be sorely missed by so many and we would like to raise funds for this charity. It is astonishing that our air ambulances operate entirely from charitable donations. Please help us make our miles count for the Orchard family.
