We are the leading NGO solely devoted to the conservation of bats. Bats play a vital role in our environment but during the last century have suffered severe declines. We are working to secure the future of bats by tackling threats such as persecution, loss of roosts and changing land use.

Story

Over the summer the National Bat Helpline had 5709 enquiries about bats in need of help, meaning that the majority of our Helpline enquiries were calls from bat finders. However, the Bat Conservation Trust does not receive any funding to give callers advice and administrate the Bat Care Network.

£3 will cover the cost of a call to the Helpline, enabling us to continue to give advice to finders of grounded and injured bats.

If you'd like to give more and help us achieve our summer appeal target we'll put the funds towards producing new bat care resources, providing better support for the Network, and offering training courses in bat care

So donate here, or simply text BATS01 £(1,2,3,4,5 or 10) to 70070 from your mobile phone
