As crazy as it sounds I am trekking to the North Pole this easter with my Father and Brother. We are trekking the last degree around 120km over a period of 10-14 days with average temperatures of -25c camping in tents on the ice each night and hopefully we won’t see many polar bears. 

I shall be keeping a blog as I go if your interested to see how much I’m suffering or just to keep track of my progress.


I am hoping to raise a bit of money for charity while doing this challenge. My goal is to raise £3000 for the Household Cavalry Foundation

The Household Cavalry Foundation relies entirely on donations from the public, this is particularly important now that our troops have been drawn down from Afghanistan. The HCF help with the physical injuries and the long term psychological injuries, such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, that emerge long after operational tours have finished.
