Story
I am walking 11 miles on the night of the 19th June to raise money for the Hospice of St Francis and in memory of family members and friends who have received care in the last weeks of their life from our local hospice and similar organisations. These organisations rely on the generosity of people like us to enable them to continue to offer the wonderful services that they provide.
In particular I will be thinking of Myrtle Hexter, Carol Newman, Ann ( my daughter in law's best friend ) Rosemary Byng, Sherry Schneider, Phil Skeet, Margaret Greenaway, Joanne Hussey, and Mary Grigson all of whom lost their struggle against cancer.
I have contacted you because you are part of my wonderful network of family and friends. Think of me on the night of the 19th when you are tucked up in bed !
