We give practical help and support to people facing difficult life challenges

Story

One day, a few weeks ago, super fit Olivia asked the super unfit Hilary if she wanted to take part in a Spartan Race..

"It's in September" said Olivia. "Plenty of time to train for it".

So naive Hilary agreed.  Turns out, it's not in September.  It's in April.  So 8 months of training is now only 8 weeks (more like 6 at this point).

The also super fit Marc decided to join team "Off your Rocker".  So now Olivia and Marc have the onerous task of helping Hilary waddle round the course.  They think she'll actually be able to get round.  Hilary is less sure, as she can't even do a single pull up, and has only recently managed to do a proper push up...

We are taking part in the South East Sprint race, this involves 5+km over (and under) obstacles, like climbing walls, crawling under barbed wire, climbing ropes, and jumping over fire.

Why would we do something so silly?  Well we are raising funds for the wonderful Wimbledon Guild.  The Wimbledon Guild is a community charity that supports the residents of Merton.  They do an amazing job and bring hope to so many people. See here for more information-  http://www.wimbledonguild.co.uk/

All donations go directly to the Wimbledon Guild so they can continue doing what they do best, helping Merton residents by tackling poverty, supporting ageing and encouraging mental well-being.

Please dig deep! And spare a thought for the intrepid team "Off your Rocker" (so called because someone said we must be mad to be doing this).
