I will be running the Corporate Challenge 10K in aid of Action Against Hunger's relief efforts in Pakistan. In the situation report published on the 23rd of August, the UN estimated that 17 million Pakistanis had been directly affected by the floods and that over one million homes had been destroyed or severely damaged. The charity will be doing all it can to provide basic food relief for those affected, to support the establishment of emergency water and sanitation facilities and to distribute tools and seeds for farming communities who have lost everything. It will also be treating some of the one million children under 5 and one million pregnant and lactating women who are severely at risk from malnutrition. 

While donations are starting to come in now, they need to continue for many months in order to get millions of families back on their feet and in a position to sustain their livelihoods again. Any donation will be very gratefully received.
