We provide autism services in N.E. Scotland to support individuals and families
Story
On Sunday the 27th May 2018, I will be running my first ever marathon in Edinburgh and I am fundraising for the Grampian Autistic Society as this is a charity close to my family’s heart. My older cousin has autism and this society has provided great support to him in developing social skills when he was younger and in finding employment after he finished college.
Hopefully the funds raised can be used to ensure other people benefit from this support in the future, too.
You can follow my training on Strava and I’ll be posting updates of my longer runs. I’ll also be running Stirling half marathon on the 29th April as part of my training plan.
AND seeks to ensure the provision of the best possible education, care, support and opportunities for people of all ages with autism in North Scotland. AND also seeks to support families, improve understanding of autism, and develop best practice amongst carers, professionals and society.
