Last year, we did it in small groups or on our own. Two years ago, just before lockdown, we did it as a group of over 300, and knowing thousands round the world were dipping too. Yes, we're talking about the International Women's Day swimrise dips (#IWDswimrise) to raise money for women's charities. 

On IWD celebrate women together, raise money, and shout out loud on this year's IWD theme #BreaktheBias

We'd love you to join us, wherever you are, for #IWDswimrise2022. In 2020 we were joined by 82 other groups in the UK and other countries around the world. In Edinburgh alone we raised over £3000 for Edinburgh Women's Aid and Rape Crisis Scotland.

IWD Swimrise Portobello will be at Portobello Beach, gathering on the beach in front of the swimming baths at 6.30am and entering the water at 7am.
