Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Over 2 days starting this Friday, a team of 3 intrepid Pret employees, and one dutiful husband will take on one of the most gruelling and challenging tasks ever devised by man - the Princes Gate Daiathlon. Over the 2 days the team must complete:

- 110 miles of cycling

- 22 miles of running (walking or crawling allowed)

- 3 miles of ocean swimming, kayaking and coasteering

The event is being held within the beautiful Pembrokshire Coast National Park, with the cycling taking in stages through the infamous Preseli Mountains! At least 1 team member must complete every stage of the challenge, but only doing that would be for wimps:

Ian Douglas - Team Captain intends to complete all of the cycle and water based activities (poor old knee restricts crawling around bars after hours only!)

Anthony "The Lance" Eadon - will win the cycling event, and kayak and coasteer while presenting Pret's complete future marketing strategy

Duncan Canning - The Ringer - will complete every part of the 2 day challenge in world record times 

Sarah Canning - has pulled a sickie (something she ate in China) and is now just playing the dutiful wife and chief masseur!!

We have already raised over £2,500 towards the fantastic Noah's Ark Appeal - a charity set up to build, equip and support the Childrens Hospital for Wales. But we now want to see if we can raise more to support Cancer Research UK in memory of our great friend and colleague Simon Hargraves, who passed away a year ago now, but who will never be forgotton by those who knew him.
