When - On Sunday the 7^th of November I will be attempting to Ice Skate a marathon in 3 hours. Planet Ice in has generously donated the rink for the evening. We are currently confirming the complete arrangements and we are hoping to arrange a night of entertainment for spectators. All details will be confirmed as soon as possible.

The Challenge – Ice Skate 420 laps within 3 hours, it is 16 laps per mile so this will be a true marathon in distance, but I have to stake round in circles. There will be a break half way for the ice to be resurfaced and skates to be sharpened. Other than that it will be none stop.

So why am I doing it? - Everyone at some point in your life will be affected by cancer, either close friends, family or maybe even yourself. I have decided to focus some energy and a lot of time to the challenge of raising as much money as possible for this great cause.

So please donate as much as you can to this worth cause. Over the next 2 months I will post regular updates and will be skating minimum or 4 times a week to build up stamina and fitness levels. This really is not going to be an easy challenge. I will post updates on the event so you can come an watch, also if you want to go ice skating and help me practice you will see me around most nights.
