Story
Myeloma is an increasingly common cancer of plasma cells which are found in the bone marrow and protect the body against infection. There is currently no known cure but treatment can halt the progress of the disease and improve quality of life.
In March this year one of the nicest people you could ever meet was diagnosed with Myeloma - my sister-in-law Carol. Thankfully this is not a run in memory of Carol as she is a stubborn so and so and is still with us.
Because of this I have decided to drag my sorry ass out of retirement and do a 5k run with some other family members, David (Carol's husband), Dave (her son-in law) and Jemma (her daughter, our niece).
