In December 2010, I will be part of a team of 20 people climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania for charity.  At 5892 metres, Mount Kilimanjaro is one of the highest peaks in the world.  The 8-day climb promises to be a significant physical and mental challenge for all of us but importantly, we get to raise funds for those who really need help. 

Our aim is to raise in excess of £50,000 for Afrikids.  Please take a look at the Afrikids website - www.afrikids.org - to fully appreciate the fantastic work Afrikids undertake on a daily basis.  Afrikids really is an extraordinary charity that supports sustainable and commercially viable projects in rural northern Ghana, helping people to change their lives and those of their families and communities.
