Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For some daft reason I am getting my running shoes out of the cupboard to run the Midnight Sun Marathon in Tromso, Norway well above the Arctic Circle. The run starts at 10.30pm so I won't finish until after midnight!

I am raising money for Disability Challengers http://www.disability-challengers.org/ a fantastic local charity who give disabled children and young people access to vital play and leisure opportunities and at the same time giving their families essential short breaks. Take a look at their website and you will see on the home page my daughter Sammie helping out at the Guildford Centre where she works. I am very proud of what she does and the help she gives these kids. So I thought this was the ideal charity to raise money for, I hope you agree.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thanks

About the charity

All children need to play, but for disabled children it is essential to help them reach their full potential. Challengers provides numerous play schemes for disabled children from across the South East. However, there are hundreds of children missing out every day and your gift can help them play.
