The wonderful team at Maggie’s offered my family and I valuable information, practical & emotional support, and reassurance at a time when all hope was lost, and when we needed it most.
Maggie’s offers a place to turn to, and some light in an otherwise very dark tunnel. You do not need to make an appointment, you can just walk in and you will find a warm welcome and someone who will take the time to sit with you, listen, talk & help you through. Maggie's essential services for people affected by cancer are dependent on money raised through events, activities and donations. This year to support Maggie’s, and in memory of my mother Mary who passed away in January of this year, I will be taking part in a 20 mile London Night Hike and have managed to get Zoe to do the walk for a second year running.The hike starts at 10pm outside City Hall and takes us in and around many of London's famous landmarks and buildings such: Royal Festival Hall, Houses of Parliament, Maggie's at Charing Cross, Fulham Palace, the Royal Geographical Society and Channel 4 to name just a few of the check points. It will be a long night but with your help we hope to raise £600.00.
