The Alexa Trust is a charity set up locally by fellow swimming friends in memory of their daughter Alexa. The charity aims to raise funds for improving neonatal services and also raises awareness of the issues faced by families experiencing premature birth and the difficulties for parents whilst supporting their babies in neonatal units.

We are a relay team of 6 swimmers from all over the world attempting to swim the English Channel between England and France in early July this year. I  am a lifelong swimmer and swimming across the iconic English Channel to France is a long held dream of mine. I love open water swimming but it has been really hard training in the cold, and often rough, sea near my home in east Kent to ensure I am fully prepared for this channel relay attempt.

I really hope you are able to support my fundraising for The Alexa Trust. Any amount, however small, will be greatly appreciated and will be put to excellent use supporting parents and babies in neonatal care.
