Story

Right now we are looking for your support to be able to provide tents for shelter, food, and clothing to the refugees seeking asylum. Please donate with a sense of urgency as you know Ramadhan is also beginning and the need is dire. 100% of your donation is guaranteed to passed on to the needy as all infrastructure is in place already and only the means of providing for the needy are required. 

Background:

Najaf Iraq has been is known in Iraq as being a safe province to seek asylum in whenever there has been unrest in Iraq over the past 15 years. 

Now again, as violence erupts in the norther provinces of Iraq people are fleeing to the safety of Amir ul Mo'mineen in Najaf. We are looking for your help in sending resources to provide for those in need durring this difficult time.

The Zahra Trust is a non-profit organization based out of London UK that operates offices and schools in the city of Najaf. Over the years, Zahra Trust has run winter relief campaigns with blankets and heaters, operated Mawakib on the walk to Kerbala, hosted zawaar and coordinated medical care of those in the most dire need. Currently the Trust through their offices in Iraq, manages 400 orphan families in and around Najaf providing for their day to day needs and is working to establish a women's skills and development center to truly bring change to the future of these families
