Dear all,

Thanks so much for visiting my JustGiving Namibia project page. 

As you all know by now, I will be very soon departing to Namibia for a year to help the Namibia Association for Community-based Natural Resources Management Support Organizations (NACSO) and in particular the OMBA Arts Trust as an Enterprise Development advisor. 

In this role, I will mainly assist the organization in the development of enterprise activities linked to tourism, craft production and in the increase of their capacity to manage resources. 

This project is an integral part of the Namibian Secure Livelihoods program conducted by VSO in the country which has had so far a considerable impact on the livelihoods of rural-based communities through the generation of income and creation of jobs linked to the tourism industry. 

Those that know me well are already fully aware of  how much this has been a thrilling desire of mine to use my business skills and experience in a developing environment whilst contributing to the change of approach in alleviating poverty in the world. It seems as if I'll finally be able to fulfill this great dream very soon in a wonderful country such as Namibia !!!

Of course, this has only been possible through the unconditional help and support of VSO, an organization that is dedicated to sending across the most deprived regions of the planet, volunteers with the same aspirations and desires as me (for more information about VSO, please visit www.vso.org.uk) !

But VSO could not actually function without YOUR support !!
