We fight animal cruelty around the world to keep all animals safe and happy

Story

Hi!

I decided to swap my high heels for running shoes again and this time it is for a good cause! I will be running a half marathon in London throught the pollution, on cobble stones and suffering through a very gruelling track around Greenwich.

Through this very challenging run, I would love to raise awareness of and money for the animal welfare charity World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) which has been promoting animal welfare for more than 25 years.

WSPA’s work is focused on:

  • Farm animals – intensive farming, long distance transport and slaughter of animals for food.
  • Commercial exploitation of wildlife – intensive farming and the cruel management and killing of wild animals for food or by-products.
  • Companion animals – responsible pet ownership, humane stray management and cruelty prevention.
  • Disaster management – providing care to animals suffering as a result of man-made or natural disasters, and thereby protecting people’s livelihoods.

Please help me reach my target to help the animals live free-range and happy ever after. So please dig deep and donate now.

About the charity

We end the needless suffering of animals. We influence decision makers to put animals on the global agenda. We help the world see how important animals are to all of us. We inspire people to change animals’ lives for the better. We move the world to protect animals.
