I wonder if you ever had a chance to hear about Polish Psychologists Association and since you are a non – Polish speaker I dare to assume that not ☺ Let me tell a little bit more about the PPA – the charity phenomena.

We are a group of qualified psychologists and sociologists established in London in 2006. Our main goal is to provide professional psychological support to the members of the Polish community in need. We believe that psychological services should be accessible to all members of the society hence we decided to keep our counselling sessions FREE OF CHARGE. Yep, free of charge, for everybody.

We provide adults, children and family counselling; our clients’ most common issues include depression, addiction, gambling, culture shock etc. Short-term therapy (6 sessions) is PPA’s key service and every year approximately 500 people complete the sessions with us. 

PPA consists of 260 registered members however only 25% of us (65 volunteers) participate actively. Our source of income is donation based only, we do not generate profit and last but not least, all volunteers provide counselling sessions without remuneration. Yep, I told you we are out of this world;) 

Your kind donation would enable us to refund volunteers travel expenses, cover the office rent in POSK and, as a beautiful result, change people’s life for better!

Witajcie!!! Zdecydowałam się wziąć udział w tegorocznym THE COLOR RUN 2016 aby zebrać fundusze na Polish Psychologists' Association. 

Czy wiecie, że w Wielkiej Brytanii istnieje od 10 lat organizacja charytatywna, która nieodpłatnie udziela wsparcia psychologicznego Polakom? Terapia krótkoterminowa (6 spotkań) jest naszym najpopularniejszym serwisem i co roku korzysta z niej nieodpłatnie około 500 osób. Nasze serwisy są skierowane do osób dorosłych, dzieci, par , osób uzależnionych. Do najczęstszych problemów z jakimi zgłaszają się do nas klienci należą depresja, uzależnienia, problemy z asymilacją, szok kulturowy, hazard. 

PPA tworzy grupa 260 członków, z czego 25% (65 osób) działa w niej aktywnie. Jesteśmy organizacją charytatywną utrzymującą się z wolnych datków, nie generujemy zysku, a udzielający konsultacji psychologicznych wolontariusze działają nieodpłatnie. 

Dzięki Twoim wolnym datkom będziemy mogli pokryć w 100% zwrot kosztów podróży naszym wolontariuszom oraz pokryć koszt wynajmu biura gdzie spotykamy się z klientami. No i oczywiście pomóc zmienić czyjeś życie na lepsze :) Dziękuję.
