Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Well, I made it, 13 minutes faster and 2,645 places higher than last year. Thanks to Physio Alex in the main sponsors Sport Injury tent, his advice, repair and girlie pink tape did the trick, He says he had run out of manly blue. Hmmm.

Placed 12,365th and finished in 1hr 50m 09s.  Objective met!!

I will run the GSR this year in support of The Rosemary Foundation.  You can be very generous as I was in the doctor’s surgery 48hrs before last year’s event and instructed not to run, so your money may be safe.  A  year older, and now over 60, what chance do I have?

Perhaps a large amount per mile would help TRF as I may not make it through 10 miles.

Oh, by the way, the doctor relented in 2013 and I completed the course in 2hrs 03mins, 14,997th but you can still be very generous, it really is worth it.  An extra 20p for every minute under 2 hours?

I will also be raising money for C-R-Y via a separate JustGiving page.

About the charity
