We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  On 9 October 2016 I hope to run the Royal Parks Half Marathon.  I am doing this to raise money for the Anna Lewis Brighter Future Fund in memory of Anna Lewis who sadly lost her life aged just 1 to Alpers Disease, a rare and incurable mitochondrial disease.   Anna's Mum, Jess, has already raised a huge amount of money for GOSH/Anna Lewis Brighter Future Fund and has got together a group of 100+ family and friends to run the Royal Parks Half Marathon this year.

All the money raised will go to the Mitochondrial Research Group at Great Ormond Street Hospital to fund research into the genetic causes of Mitochondrial Disease and to identify possible treatments.  All donations would be greatly appreciated and hopefully give other families and children a brighter future.
