This April John and I will be running the London Marathon and hopefully at the same time raise funds for Pancreatic Cancer UK.  On the 16th August 2009, Andrew Field, one of our close friends passed away.  Andrew was only 44 years old when he was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer at Christmas 2008.  In the short space of time, in which this disease took hold, Andrew spent his time building treasured memories for his loving wife Sharon and his two children Shaunie & Aidan.  Pancreatic Cancer is a 'silent' cancer and is well advanced before diagnosis.  Little is known about this cancer and the money raised will go towards valuable research.
