Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My story is about a remarkable woman, one of my best friends and I am proud to be able to of called her my Mum. She loved her job as a hairdresser but gave this up to be a full-time mother to myself, brother and sister. In December 2007 she was admitted to The Royal Free Hospital, London where she fought for weeks to overcome the doctor's prediction of her surviving for just two more days. Two years later, though, she was admitted to intensive care and after a 6 week battle over Christmas she passed on January 8th. Aged just 47 she passed away from liver failure.
I will always remember my mum for her strength and bravery and now we live not just for ourselves but for you too, and on March 7th I will set off from John O'Groats and take on the 900+ mile solo cycle to Lands End to raise money for the British Liver Trust in memory of my mum who was taken from us far too soon.
