Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In November 2019 I ran The Chester Marathon in support of The Hospice Of The Good Shepperd, a local Hospice who provide world class care to patients experiencing palliative care. Having experienced the care provided by The Hospice to my mother in 2013 I was staggered that this organisation is largely funded by the population with only a fraction of the funding required provided by The Government.
This year I have been given the honour by The Hospice to run under their banner at this years London Marathon.
To keep The Hospice providing its world class care takes on average £11,000 per day, last time I raised just under £2,000 running The Chester Marathon and I hope to smash this target this year by running The London Marathon and raising as much as possible.
Every penny really does count towards keeping this amazing local facility in Cheshire open.
