Three good friends are taking on the challenge of a lifetime. We will be riding our mountain bikes across 400km of South African wilderness for six days through Indigenous forests, farmland, high mountains and deserted white beaches.

We will be riding for the Princess Alexandra Hospital trust who specialise in Breast Cancer research and treatment. This is a charity very close to our hearts. James' sister Jo was under the care of the Princess Alexandra Hospital during her battle against breast cancer and benefited greatly from their support and care. Sadly she lost her fight against cancer in December 2012, at the young age of 39. Having seen the benefits that this very worthy charity can provide, we very much appreciate how much they need our support and it is your donations to us that will ensure they can give the same support and care to others.

Cancer is one of the cruelist diseases that anyone has to deal with first hand but with your support and donations we can help to beat it together. We promise to push ourselves to our physical limits.  Chris underwent reconstructive surgery on his Anterior Cruciate Ligament not so long ago, but we won't let that or our old age hold us back unlike some professional footballers, but what we need is for you to do is dig deep into your pockets and sponsor us now!!

Together we have to raise £30,000 by September 2014. Whether it's a couple of pounds or more it will all help and we promise to update you with our progress by photos to keep you all amused. Watch this space!!
