Story

A huge thank you to all those who so generously supported my fund raising efforts. After 4 days of riding we reached Arnhem and spent the 5th day touring the battlefield sites. I was honoured to be the 3rd highest fund raiser on the trip - and can see that money is still coming in after we finished. The ABF does wonderful work to support military veterans less fortunate than most, and every penny raised will be wisely spent. Thank you all again for the support - and if anyone would still like to help me reach my target which is so clearly in sight, please don’t think it is too late 😀. God Save the King.

I'm raising money for ABF The Soldiers' Charity who provide vital support to soldiers, veterans and their families in times of need. For Soldiers. For Life.

3 years  ago I was persuaded to join several friends and many ex servicemen and women who I didn’t know, on an ABF cycle ride through northern France following the route of the D Day invasion. One long ride should have been enough, but with my son now serving and the work of the ABF as important as ever, I have been persuaded to get back on the saddle and join another ride across France, Belgium and Holland, taking in Ypres, Waterloo and Arnhem. 330 miles in 5 days to raise valuable funds for this most worthwhile of causes. Any support that you are generous enough to give me will be hugely appreciated, both by myself and more importantly by the ex servicemen and women that the monies raised will support.
