As one of the elite *cough* SSVC Harriers I'm running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in October.

I don't normally do the whole sponsorship thing - but the Big Salute is a brilliant charity that helps members of the armed forces community and their families with grants - a cause really close to my heart, and they are able to help people in need who don't always get the support or coverage that the big charities get. Plus, 100% of any funds raised are used for charitable donations - there are no administrative costs.

Those of you who know me will realise that a run a bit normally - so to make it harder I absolutely promise that I will turn myself inside out during the race (not literally - as I literally know what literally means!)... If I've not been sick in a bin by the end I will be VERY disappointed - I absolutely guarantee to be in agony during the whole race.
