Sadly James passed away peacefully at home on Saturday 22nd June 2019 having lost his long battle with cancer.

He was a true fighter and stayed strong for himself and all of those around him right to the end.

James was a keen supporter of Stand Up to Cancer and for this reason rather than having flowers at his memorial service please consider making a donation to this amazing cause to help continue to fight against this dreadful disease that touches so many people.

Designed by Cancer Research UK and Channel 4, Stand Up To Cancer is a fundraising campaign that brings the UK together to speed up progress in life-saving cancer research. Stand Up To Cancer funds research, which takes developments in the lab and accelerates them into brand new tests and treatments for cancer patients who need them.

We all feel that this is an amazing cause that will continue to help people like James who sadly have to battle this disease.
