On Sunday 21st April 2024 our incredible team of runners are taking part in the iconic TCS London Marathon in support of good mental health for all.

Story

I am running my first Marathon at TCS London 24, I decided to run for a charity which feels close to home as I have suffered with my Mental Health for several years and am fortunate enough to have a number of services at hand to assist me through my struggles. Everyone's Mental Health has been impacted massively given the struggles that we have all had to face for the past few years with the Corona virus and the Cost of Living crisis being big factors.

My main focus will be to raise awareness for the stigma around Men and Mental Health, whilst all genders suffer with Mental Health issues, us men often keep it bottled up and do not speak out in the fear that we would be judged or considered weak.

Over the past few years many of us have sadly lost loved ones who unfortunately believed there was no other way out of this horrible illness. With your help, I can raise awareness and ensure sufferers know that IT'S OKAY NOT TO BE OKAY and there is crucial help out there for all of those in need.

I will feel a great deal of accomplishment knowing that we have helped to provide much needed support to those most in need and ultimately saved the lives of our loves ones, all whilst tackling the hardest challenge I will have faced in my life time.

I understand times are hard for everybody right now, donations of any amount are massively appreciated.

Thank you for listening!
