Having never run any distance before in my life, I’m crazily training hard to complete this event in memory of, and to support my colleagues who lost their son, age 7, to cancer.

On May 19th 2022 'Jack's PACK' - Police Against Cancer in Kids - will once again fly to New York to take part in its annual fund raiser. Set up in memory of 7 year-old Jack Brown, jack.org (Joining Against Cancer in Kids) is a registered charity that helps children with the childhood cancer neuroblastoma. Jack's PACK is the charity's biggest fund raising Team. All monies raised assist the costs of sending children abroad to receive potentially life saving treatment and also to further research into this terrible disease. Around 100 Met Police Officers will complete the half marathon in NYC this year. All the officers pay for the trip themselves and all monies raised will go to our charity
