My wonderful friend is being amazingly brave. A few months back she got diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder which means her body is attacking 'her body'.  Every aspect of her life has changed but one of the most difficult symptoms is that she lost all her hair. Now for a women this is incredibly hard and stressful and even though I can say I understand and know how she's feeling deep down I haven't a clue and I honestly believe if I was in her shoes I don't know how I would cope. However she's been stronger and braver than I could ever be. I know how much she wants to raise awareness and has been doing this by writing an amazing blog. So now it's my turn. I can run, I enjoy running and I think sometimes im quite good at it, but this will be a challenge. Im going to run 13 miles, and help my wonderful friend raise awareness and money to help support a charity that's super close to her heart. I won't ever know how she's feeling but I can support her in my own way to let her know how much she means to me. So even if I raise £50 that would be amazing. So I've just completed the 1/2 marathon and did it in 2hrs 25 minutes. I want to say a massive thank you for all the support and money raised. It means a lot to me and the charity and will go a long long way xxxx
