We fund research to stop prostate cancer killing men

Story

Dear all,

When I went on gardening leave at the end of May I decided that I needed something to do aside from looking after 3 boys and working on my tan.  The Prostate Cancer Charity is a cause close to my heart. The disease has impacted the lives of dear friends and also my Dad was diagnosed back in February. Dad's courage and fortitude has been inspirational and this was what prompted me to put on my trainers and pound the streets of Edinburgh. Back in June 13 miles seemed impossible but I've now got the bug and starting to think that I'll manage it- although not sure about the time!!!

I hope you will feel able to donate money to this excellent cause. There are 35,000 men diagnosed with Prostate Cancer each year in the UK- its the most common cancer amongst men. The guys at this charity do a great job in funding research and offering support and information to men and their families. Much progress has been made but they need lots more funding to find a cure.

Thanks for your help

Jane
