Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I shall be running the London Parks Half Marathon on the 10th October 2010 for the Rarer Cancers Foundation. 

I am heading towards the big 40 and I thought I would like to challenge the body before it completely gives up.

I am currently following a strict training schedule/diet of running, swimming and weight training followed by the occassional kebab/big mac!!

Joking aside, I think we all know someone who is/has been affected by this terrible disease and I hope to raise as much as possible wtih your help.

People with rarer cancers often feel isolated and find it difficult to get accurate information about their illness. We offer advice and information, put people in touch with others for support, raise awareness of less common cancers, and work to secure the best possible services for patients and their families.
