So on October 3rd i will be running my first marathon, representing and raising money for Surrey Care Trust. Surrey Care Trust provides learning, training and mentoring to support young people and adults in improving their chances in life. Setbacks such as illness, addiction, family breakdown, unemployment and just trying to improve their mental health. It's been a tough year for many people during this pandemic, so the work they do in helping people have a better life is just brilliant! So if anyone has a spare few pounds they'd like to donate to a great cause, then me and The Surrey Care Trust would be hugely grateful. I've always had a goal/target of running the marathon in Sub 3 hours, (stupid i know haha) so looking forward to getting the training underway and raising money!
