Jean has done many events in Australia since moving there. Now it's time to do one in Scotland and at the same time help Tai Woffinden raise £100k for Great Ormond Street Hospital. Please give to this wonderful charity because the children there need your support!

Here is Siobhan’s story and why she is climbing Ben Nevis to help GOSH:

I met Jean 8 years ago at the same time I met Steve. My life has gone through the most incredible ups and downs in that time….I got together with Steve, landed my dream job with The London Symphony Orchestra, had accidents, operations, eventually had our miracle baby boy Struan who is now 3, decided to give up my dream job with my beloved Orchestra to concentrate on my amazing family, moved to Scotland and now, this year Steve and I are getting married on August 23rd. 

Sadly, during all the highs and lows of the last few years I went from being a lean, trim regular runner to losing my fitness and gaining quite a lot of weight. I have managed to shift 25lbs so far and had got a bit stuck when jean contacted me & the chance to climb Ben Nevis 4 weeks before getting married was too good to pass up. Team Australia have been emailing me recipes to help with shifting my target of another 13lbs before Ben Nevis leaving a mere 6 to go before the wedding. 

Great Ormond Street Hospital is such a worthy cause & I am also looking forward to being introduced to Speedway at my local track in North Berwick - it will fit in well with our wedding which is being created entirely using local resources and businesses. 

Moving to Scotland has brought about a huge number of changes in my life - climbing Ben Nevis with Jean and helping to raise more money towards the final goal of Team Tai will be another high step in some really life changing times.
