We help people with mental health issues to create a positive future for themselves

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, all funds raised will go directly the MIND Halton.

We a group of family and friends have decided to take on the three Peaks challenge of reaching summit of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowden within 24hrs.

This is a massive challenge both physical and mental and definitely not to be taken likely.

I myself have completed several ultra marathons, but to do this is on another level. 😬

We are doing this challenge in the memory of love ones that we have lost through mental health and suicide. My nephew Curtis and Brother in law Adam both suffered in this way and we sadly lost them to suicide.

We have also seen the affect mental health can have on family and friends, and we need to help and find ways to support all who have unfortunately been suffering and still are with this massive issue.

MIND literally is trying to target this illness, but they need all the support they can to reach all and find new techniques to help these people go through their struggles and to try a prevent the worst that we have had to endure.

So please, please, please help us reach our target so we can try and make that difference to someone’s life.. ❤️

Mind Halton is a mental health charity run by and for local people that promotes good mental health for all, and treats people with a mental health problem positively, fairly and with respect. We listen to people who use our services, value their experiences and place them at the centre of our service delivery and development. We enable people with mental health needs to improve their health and wellbeing to reach their full potential so they can live more successfully in their communities. Above all, we aim to create a positive future for people who use our services or volunteer with us. We are partly funded by the local authority and the NHS, but rely on donations to make up the shortfall in our funding. - we need to raise £1 for every £3 of funding we receive in order to break even over the year, and for this we rely on local individuals, businesses and fundraisers.
