Just after our wedding in March of this year Paul and I were over the moon to find out we were expecting. We went for our 12 week pregnancy scan in May only to be hit by the devastating news that I had suffered a silent miscarriage, resulting in having surgery to remove the pregnancy.

Miscarriage not only leaves you heartbroken, it also leaves you feeling confused, lonely and feeling like a failure. During this time and even still now, the Miscarriage Association has provided a great source of support to myself and many others suffering in this situation. Therefore wanting to turn a negative into a positive and to give a little something back I have decided, along with my lovely friend James, to raise as much money as possible for this amazing charity. 

Quick big up to James as he initially debated whether to actually do the Great South (his first one) but when I told him the charity I was running for he immediately signed up and agreed to run with me - what a star!
