On 18th July, I completed the Pennine Events 30-mile bike ride between Liverpool and Chester. 

I rode with my sister, my brother-in-law and their son as the fourth member of a team supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. We cycled through the Wallasey tunnel under the Mersey (which they closed for us - quite a unique experience) and on into Chester. Quite wet and muddy by the end, but cheerful.
