Story
I plan to donate my hair to The Little Princess Trust (when I've grown it to the required length) and any money raised to Bandanas For The Brave.
My daughter Nicole was 22 months old when she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia back in 2014. One of the most obvious side effects due to chemotherapy was hair loss. We were lucky she was too young to understand or notice. However I am very aware there are children of all ages battling cancer who find this side effect understandably devastating.
Bandanas for the Brave supplied a free bandana to Nicole, which helped protect her head from the sun. They supply all children fighting cancer a free bandana with their choice of design.
The Little Princess Trust take donated hair and turn them into wigs for children. Kids have a tough and scary time going through treatment and the side effects. I want to give back to help give other children some confidence and make them feel a bit better.
