2014 saw us loose a wonderful lady and much loved friend , Sandra Gibson after a very  brave battle against cancer. Sandra's amazing positive attitude never faltered  with her favourite saying being 'onwards and upwards'. I am sure there will be times  during this walk that I will need to remember this saying and why I am doing it.

Cancer has affected so many of my friends and family in different ways I would like to raise as much money as possible to help in finding a cure.

Myself and my friend , Karen Hursthouse who is raising money for Alzheimers  have been training hard and so far have  managed to keep laughing and  to avoid too many blisters   - long may it continue. All donations and good wishes will be appreciated and I'll make sure I keep you updated.
