Fundraising for Autism Together
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As everyone as been so generous I have changed my target to £300, we can do this!!!!!!
I have decided to take on my own 7 day challenge to raise money and awareness for Autism Together, future 50 appeal.
I am going to run 7k, cycle 7k then row 7k (in the gym) each day for 7 days starting from 1st April, which also fits in with the start of Autism Awareness month.
I decided to do this because of a special little boy in my life,my nephew Ollie. My brother Carl and his wife Hannah, make up a family of 5, eldest Charlie (middle of pic) Ollie (right of pic) and Chloe (left of pic). They all live with Autism every day and I know that the help of charities,agencies and education systems across Wirral have made a huge difference in theirs and Ollies life.
I would just like to do my little bit to raise any money I can that could potentially help towards future funding/care for my family as well as other families.
Autism Together is one of these charities but with the huge ambition to create a new state of the art autism specific unit which will have accommodation as well as consultation and therapy rooms. This will allow in-patient assessment services and a diagnostic centre for children and adults. If you don't know much about autism, let me tell you that this will be a really impressive facility and we are lucky that anyone has such an ambition in our area. It is an investment for my family as Ollie will no doubt make use of these facilities in the future.
