Story

As many of you know, my Dad Alan sadly died last year of cholangiocarcinoma, a rare form of liver cancer.  We have received incredible support from friends and family for which we are so grateful.  As Alan was a very keen runner, we (myself, my Mum Hilary and our good friend Beth) have decided to run the Manchester 10km in his memory.  We have decided that we would like to try to raise funds (however small) for the AMMF, a registered charity which helps fund research into the causes, treatments and possible future cures of this type of cancer.     We are really looking forward to the day, completing the run and afterwards raising a glass to Alan in the pub!  Thanks for your support, Jen xx

AMMF is the UK's only cholangiocarcinoma charity. Our main aims are to raise the awareness of cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer), to provide information, and to support specialised research teams in their work to find the causes, methods of earlier diagnosis and treatments for this disease.
