My friends, Michelle and Lee, lost their beautiful little girl Lara at just a month old. She was born prematurely and, despite having a fighting spirit, she was taken far too soon.

I know Michelle is running the London marathon in order to raise funds for this charity, and so I thought I would show my added support to her. I'll be walking the same distance (I can barely run to the end of the road!) and adding any sponsorship I get to the same worthwhile charity, that supports pregnant women and new born babies at their most vulnerable time of life.

I know quite a lot of my friends are doing the walk with me, so do not expect people to sponsor us all - just a small amount from a few of you would be a great morale booster for me, and mean so much to the charity.
